In 1988 one of New Jersey’s famous juice bars was Frank’s Chicken House in Manville, New Jersey.  First off, the fried chicken was amazing with real homemade sides . What was unique about this bar was that it didn’t have a liquor license so did not serve beer. But it did have a small little stage which was deemed an art theater back in the 30’ and 40’s.   The owner Mr. Frank took a giant risk and realized he could have girls dancing on his little Art Stage. After all, girls dancing was artistic expression.   And in New Jersey, this meant the girls who danced onstage in establishments with no alcohol could dance nude.

Anyhow, there were three juice clubs like this in New Jersey and two in New York (where the girls could only be topless and not nude)  all of them were advertising with me.   This is where I introduce this girl right here whose name is Brenda B.  Brenda was a dancer at Frank’s and had a spectacular body.  She would come out on stage with just her heels and it was nuts.  You have to remember that back then , not many men could see a totally perfect naked woman in front of them.  So you ask yourself a question: how does a bar like Frank’s make money on only fried chicken and juices?  Well it was something like this.

The Cost to get in?

= $20

To get in you have to immediately purchase a six pack of water or soda:

= $10.

Needless to say the bar was packed every night and the guys tipped the girls a fortune as they were all knockouts.  Let’s not forget the $20 special lap dance in the little private booths. One thing for sure, the patrons were properly hydrated those nights.

Donny D! Where have you gone?
